Especially for Teens, Retirees,
What Is "Mad Money"?
"Mad money" is usually construed to be "extra money" o?= above and beyond one's basic income o?= one's basic needs. But for many today it has come to mean something a little more generic o?= something needed as prices rise and budgets get stretched thinner and thinner.
This is particularly true for those whose incomes were marginal even before the central bank (Federal Reserve) so grossly expanded the production of "fiat money" by printing currency based on nothing but a promise of ever-higher taxes.
Who Needs "Mad Money"?
Prominent among those to whom mad money has grown in importance are teenagers, whose access to money has always been limited, retirees on fixed incomes, seniors looking for income in later life, and stay-at-home moms looking for the best online home-based businesses. If you are in one of these groups, this article should be of special interest to you.
For starters, I want to assure you that making "mad money" on the Internet is a realistic and doable proposition o?= not "pie in the sky" as some well-meaning friends have warned me o?= and not on a complexity level with rocket science. So let's talk about what it takes to succeed at it.
If you answered "yes" to these questions o?= all of them o?= you can probably succeed in making as much mad money as you want (or need) online. So what's the catch? The big "IF" in this endeavor is that the outcome you want o?= making ample "mad money" takes work, patience, and a willingness not to get distracted by the seductive offers of "fast cash", "instant money", and the like that arrive in your e-mails on a daily basis.
An Important Caution
Be especially wary of offers that claim you can make money with no work and/or without setting up a business. After all, the nature of a business is that people pay you for something that they value. If you don't have a business, what are people paying you for? Nothing! Don't become a scammer by falling for such a trick.
There is one exception to the above caveat - and that is online trading. Although a business, strictly speaking, some don't regard it as such. And indeed, a lot of mad money is made in this way - trading in stocks, commodities, options, and, my favorite: foreign currencies (FOREX).
